Grooms figured this was the end of his career but at this point he just wanted to get the job done, get their crew back and deal with the ramifications of his actions later.

: : : : : : Paul felt Grooms' hard hand impact his face. Paul Blinked and looked at the tool in his hand then back up to NE Grooms, then to the coils. Paul swallows and nods as he leans forward towards the Coils, and shakey at first begins to work on them.

: : : : : Grooms watched as Paul started to work. He didn't apologize he just kept working. He'd turn himself over to security once they got the ship moving again. "That second coil is acting squirrley earlier." Grooms said gruffly.

He said "I left the new guy down there alone to come take care of this." Grooms said as he put the tool kit back in it's place and walked away to his quarters where he had told the Captain he would be.
