Early was born as the result of a tragic accident. His parents were the children of the crew of the USS Caravaggio a long range survey ship, that crashed on a class M planet in the beta quadrant just inside the Romulan Neutral zone, in the late 23rd Century, they were separated from the federation for about 75 years, when rediscovered the crew and their new families were brought back to the federation. Jubal was a special child his whole life he was new that he was one of the few living beings on his world that could possible play host for the Early symbiote. A tragic accident left Jubal as the host of the early symbiote since the host his grandmother and the likely successor his mother were both killed when a cliff face crumbled above them burying them in rubble. Jubal returned to the federation, sad but excited at the same time, he was getting to take himself to his people, they would be happy the symbiote had survived. His welcome was less than warm. Since he was not fully trill, it was decided that he was not a fit host, and there for the symbiote would never be joined to another. It was a sad day for them both. With War on the horizon, they went to join the marines, surely they could get honorably killed in the war. The symbiote wanted to die, the Caitian in Jubal demand it at least be an honorable death. Battle after battle, they sought honorable death, doing things that sane men would not attempt, and seeming to come out each encounter stronger and better. Repeatedly, Jubal was decorated, and recieved further training, until he was an accepted member of MARSOC (MARine Special Operations Command); He spent many years active, as a special forces operative during the war, and after a brief stint in a Jem'Hadar Prison Camp, was reinstated to duty. He has dodged the regulations that require he go back to a line company by attending various training schools, or arranging to be gone, or transferred to another SpecWar Team when the his re-up date comes up. It finally has caught up to him and he is being sent to the Samurai as
just another Sergeant in a line company.
