"It seems a couple of miscreants decided they were going to hijack the Calypso, for whatever reason, which we are still looking into, and apparently they wanted to cause as much damage as possible, whaich is why they collided with the station and set off the explosions. As we attempted to gain access, they tried using a photon grenade, then resisted our attempts to apprehend them, hence my officer, Ensign Trellis being here too. Lieutenant Webber and Commander Toshihiro are looking into that aspect, the hijacking and how the two were able to commandeer that ship in the first place."

Make sure Webber preps all available charges against those to and contact Admiral Buchanan's office to get some Engineering assistance for Ops." The Captain looked physically weak and appeared to be about to ATTEMPT to stand.

: : : : : : : : : : : Valerie started to prepare a sedative for her patient. She certainly wan't going to take any chances with him once the forcefield came down.

: : : : : : : : : : Acel'ex quickly disappeared tapping his commbadge, for Webber and have him contact Admiral Buchanan's office, per Ramsey's order. He then contacted his Security teams to reiterate keeping a sharp eye out for any more problems, throughout the station.

: : : : : : : : : Ramsey sighed. "OK ladies... I'll stay put." The Captain glanced uneasily at the sedative. "Promise... you have my word." He then looked over to Stone. "Doctor... would you mind at least handing me a Command PaDD so I can keep up to speed?"

: : : : : : : : Paige nodded "That I can do Captain." She said "If there are no complications, I'll release you in two hours with a cortical monitor. You will need to continue to take it easy." She said "Two hours no earlier." She turned and grabbed a command PaDD for Ramsey and handed it to him. "I'll let the XO know that you're awake." SHe said "Unless you want to let her know."

: : : : : : Paige walked over to the desk and got the requested PaDD and handed it to Ramsey and looked at the bio readings and noted that he seemed to be pretty stable. If he remained that way she'd release him in an hour or so.

: : : : : After she was sure the sedative had properly kicked in, Valerie ran a scan on her patient and began examining his injuries.

: : : : Aside from the reziduals left over from the phaser shot to the upper right chest, he appeared in fairly good shape. As Val & Paige examined the subject closer, they would find something very odd on the inside of his left wrist... a Vern tattoo.

: : Paige noticed the tattoo "Chief...look at this." She said pointing to the tattoo as she began treating the wound to his chest.

: : : Aki walked over to the Captain's bed. "Sir, how are you doing?" Aki asked the Captain as she stood to one side "This is Captain Newsome. He is the Captain of the Calypso." She said making introductions.

: Acel'ex grinned. At last, an officer who's on top of things! =^= I'm not too far away. I can be there in no time. Acel'ex out. =^= He then did an about face and soon disappeared into a turbolift. Minutes later, he was entering Sickbay, where he spotted Cmdr Toshihiro and the new Security Officer. "What have you got, so far?" asked Acel'ex, pulling out his PaDD.

Maria quickly broke off from the entourage to make her way over to the Lieutenant. "Well we've uncovered a Vern connection. It seems the Calypso was hauling S-42 Phased Plasma torpedos that were being designed to destroy Borg cubes. His company has been harassed a few times in the past by a small splinter group because of their shipments to OEDV. Commander Toshihiro has Lieutenant Travis in Ops scanning for any Vern based technologies, and ships. We were also looking into tracing back ship registries for the last three weeks for anything coming out of Vern space.

While I'm no expert on Vernese weapons and tech, I believe Lt. Travis is looking for general Vern tech. I've also recommended to the Commander having security teams begin sweeping the station on foot, in case the sensors are still having issues, or if sensor resolution is too low. I'm not sure if their weapons or explosives tech will show up on regular scans," she quickly informed the Chief.
