: : "Too late Jarred. I am… more than anything I could ever wrapped my mind around before. It's like I have no limits but I'm also completely bound to my new existence. I think in ways…" Cori closed her eyes, feeling all the minute details of the ship coursing through her as if it were her own blood. "You can't possibly imagine!" she whispered.

: "I... I guess good came of it... I just..." he said, seeming very conflicted as he talked. He had the weight of guilt on him but another part of him was happy for her, she was so young and he couldn't help but fell protective of her. "I have to admit, I do sometimes think of you when making repairs to the ship, it's kind of like fixing you in many ways... and some of the places I have seen of yours... well I think I should have bought you dinner first." he said teasingly, knowing full well that while she was part of the ship, she was not the ship... not in the full sense, a new computer could be put in and the ship would still run, but she would not necessarily fare as well in such a transfer. It showed that there was limitations to it and it made him at times to want to find a replacement for her even more, a real body... or as real as android and cyber technology could create.

They were sitting in the shade of Lilly's program, though Cori had removed all the people out of it. She shook her head and laughed loudly. "Maybe you should have. Too bad I can't eat," she said with a grin. "Well.. actually, I can here of course. So anytime, please do. Good thing Alex really isn't the jealous type," she said with a grin.

It was strange to hear him say 'fixing you'. After all, she had most definitely felt broken after that bullet hit her and no one could do anything for her really at first. She was still taking small steps as it was all she could do. "So is that why you came here? To apologize for not buying me dinner?" she asked with a wry smile, knowing it was more than that.
