: : : : : : : : Even though the sensors were offline, they could see the enemy vessel, a design none of them were familiar with, turn back towards them, approach, and simply disappear as it flew over them.

: : : : : : : : After a few hours of work by everyone, navigational sensors were back online. No sign of the other ship could be detected. Engineering also reported that two of the engineers had been killed when one of the plasma conduits had ruptured near their quarters. The rupture had also damaged the impulse drives enough that one couldn't be used at all, and the other was approaching the temperature redline.

: : Devri darted across her quarters, having just stepped out of the shower, and tapped her comm badge as it lay on her night stand. =^= I copy sir, en route... Starbuck out =^= In a a flurry of activity, Devri quickly got dressed in a fresh flightsuit and bolted from her quarters toward the Shuttle Bay... her still damp hair pulled through the back of her ballcap.

: As the orders were going out, the ship in question finally entered sensor range. Not much could be gathered at this extreme range, but the energy output was far higher than it should have been, and in an extreme state of flux.

Down in the shuttlebay, Shawn was doing some maintenance on one of the shuttles when the red alert sounded. A few minutes later, crew began pouring into the bay. Shawn figured that there was something serious up.
