: : : : : Her vibrant green eyes gazed at him for a moment, considering the request. "Alright, you may call me Marina if you wish. Be glad we're not on Zalda, otherwise decorum and precedent would have you call me Lady Marina," she replied with a smirk. Despite appearances to the contrary, she was quite able to smile and be pleasant, but it usually required people to show a modicum of sense and not insult her at every turn.

: : : : Simon gave her a smile that unlike before, did reach his eyes. "So, Lady Marina, I know this may be as much of a leap for you as it is for me, but would you considder datin me?" He wasn't sure why he was asking her THAT question. It had been the furthest thing from his mind when thier convesation had started. This was especially true because he and Nadie had hit it off so well and they seemed to be much more compatible. It was however too late to take the words back they were already out there. Now he just had to wait and see what kind of reaction they caused.

: : : She froze for a moment, her emerald eyes wide with surprise. She had been prepared to get up and leave but felt stuck to her chair. Sure, the meal had been more than pleasant, despite the difficult topics covered, but… no, it was simple, really. He was asking if she would consider seeing him again in a more formal way. It wasn't inconceivable, though she was slightly baffled. "Why would you want to?" she asked, almost tentatively.

: This was certainly an unusual situation to be in! There was the full potential of it going horribly wrong, but in her own way Marina was optimistic. She truly didn't see the bad in everything around her, and so, his offer to explore was met with a softened expression and a slight brightening of her eyes. "I… am open to it yes." She rose to her feet and gazed at him. "If it would be suitable to you, perhaps a meal or something in a more private setting would be appropriate for next time?"

"I would like that," he replied unable to keep a smile off his face. He wasn't sure where this might all lead, if it lead anywhere, but at least the journey would be an interesting one. Volatile and unpredictable possibly as well, but definetly interesting.

"I maybe pretty busy tomorrow, why don't we have dinner the day after if that would work for you. We could try my place if you have no objection.
