: : : : "That's correct. But if there's any common trait that runs in your family, say a special physical feature, or disease, we can have more information about whether he or she is a member of the family. But unless it's a rare or unique feature, that would be of low accuracy." Munro answered. He browsed through the results again, tried to think up new methods.

: : : : OOC: Well, that what I know about 'Human' genetics. I am not sure if Zaldans are also the same.

: : : OOC: I'm operating under the same assumptions. :)

: : : Marina shook her head. "Not that I know of. I suppose the only solution is to see if there are DNA records for previous generations on file. I imagine somewhere on Zalda there would be some. I don't know how much digging it would take," she said before sighing. Digging hadn't resulted in positive events for her lately, so while she knew what she had to do, it did make her a little uneasy.

: : Munro tried to read the facial expression of Marina's. Munro was not good at knowing, and usually not interested in how people feel. He did so more out of curiosity. He wondered what Marina is thinking, did she really want to uncover this 'inconsistency in the direct lineage'? Sometimes innocence is a blessing.
: : Munro shrugged. "Since you mentioned Zalda..Is it possible any tissue sample or blood of your grandparents are still preserved there? Of course DNA records can also work. But now that we are suspecting a misdirection in the lineage, the record could also be fake."

: "It's very possible that there is something there that is useable. I will have to contact those I trust and see what happens," she replied. "Now, what else have you been working on?" she asked, wanting to know if her little project might interfere with something important he was invested in.

"Let's hope there is good news. We can just wait for now." Munro sat back away from the computer.
"Nothing big actually. I did a autopsy with NE Gary of the medical department yesterday. It's a victim they found in the last mission. In the preliminary report, they believed he was killed in the embassy bombing. During the autopsy, we had found evidence that could prove it otherwise." Munro answered.
