She had heard what Kal was explaining but her mind was still on her father, who was lightly brushing along the borders of her mind to check on her. Still testing her patience...literally. She took a few deep breaths to keep herself calm as she continued.

: "Maybe…" Kal said with a shrug, before falling silent. She wasn't sure what else to say really. It was awkward because without the idle chit chat and musings, they might have to talk about something more difficult and Kal was under the impression one topic was off limits. Which sucked, but what else could they do?
