: : : : "Well for starter's the Data you sent us indicated there was transporter activity detected in the area's effected, I'm sure you all noticed it, so why don't you start with who would want to see you and your fair colony fail? Then we can go from there, don't you think?" Eos asked casually, sure he would ruffle some feather's this time and counting on it. Something just didn't seem right with the whole situation and Eos was well aware of that before they had even dropped out of Warp. His eye's didn't move from the Governor's and his demeanor unchanged, as if he hadn't gone from highly respectful to quite possibilly downright offensive. Indeed his tone was full of the same respect it held before, but with a hint of curiousity and wonder.

: : : Gov'n Lei looked genuinely surprised "It was not reported to me that there was any transporter activity in the areas affected." He said and looked at Mai Lynn and spoke to her in Chinese. The young woman scurried out of the room to go get whatever the governor had requested.

Ayla watched the interaction, her mind focused to see if the man was being honest. Also she listened for what the Universal translator told her Lei said to Mai Lynn, since Chinese was a standard Terran language that was automatically translated.
