: : : Her kiss caught him off guard as he blushed slightly he put his hands on her face, allowing him to look into her golden eyes he leaned in kisisng her forehead before. It was all very simple and tender, the bubling of the growing emotions within both of them showing. "I know, just... well... I haven't put myself out there in awhile. It amazes me how quickly we have hit it off, and maybe I just can't wait for the next date." he said smiling softly at her, still holding her closely.

: : Ghubari let her mind hold on to these sweet moments for a bit, enjoying it and letting it wrap itself around her. It had been a long time since she had felt this way and as much as it was daunting, it was exciting too! She smiled at him. "I look forward to it as well."
: :
: : She waited another moment before reaching for her last of her cheesecake and taking some more bites. "Well? How is cheesecake for you? You should know there are sooooo many flavours."

"Hmmm, probably chocolate, caramel pecan. So decadent and not something I have very often, but really, really lovely. But you know sometimes you just want something lighter and I love a nice lemon one." Her eyes lit up a little as she recalled when she first had cheesecake. "You know the first time I had it was this one night at the Academy that I and a bunch of classmates were exchanging desserts from ours homes. I had never felt so full, but it had been a wonderful evening and I had learned a lot about those around me. It was probably the first time I truly felt welcome and accepted. It's how I knew that Star-fleet was the right place for me."
