: : : TJ read the message that Frost had sent him. Part of him wanted to strangle him. The other part was happy. That was part of his original ideas. But he had put it aside to make the process more streamline. Now he had to redo his entire design.

: : Frost knew how tough it was to deal with last minute changes. As the acting head of the science department, he had to direct such things, but he also looked at it from a working point-of-view and didn't like doing it. He sent a follow-up message to T.J.

: At least he was nice about it. There was plenty to do. He had to strengthen the hull and add a complete ballast system. This would require a semi-new design. There was little that was needed from the rest. Except, of course, the entire vessel had to be air tight. His team returned from their break

TJ's and Frost's modifications on the hull and ballast system went fairly well all things expected. There was enough design data in the Starfleet database on Earth on submarines that this was not that difficult of a task both with their skills and their access to superior materials. Within a couple of days the submersible was ready for implementation.
