Whoever it was, left some sort of organic material behind, but the tricorder can't identify anything special about it, so it was beamed up to the ship for further analysis. Some of the local farmers have mentioned something about antagonistic landlords, lurking around caves that are about two kilometres north of us. Request permission to search. =/\=

: : : : : Governor Lei stood "Captain, Counselor join my wife and I for a walk around the village square." He said "We can escort Mei Lynn and your Lt Romanov to the security offices on our way." He said motioning for his wife to join him which she did immediately.

: : : : "We would be honoured to have you show us your village," Sharise replied with a half-bow of her head. With graceful steps she fell in behind the Governor and his wife.

: : : Lei smiled "Then let's go walk, you can see how we are preparing for the festival that is coming and perhaps sample some of our local foods." He said his wife taking his arm. Mei Lynn opened the doors to the great hall and stood to the side to let the others pass.

Lei nodded "It takes a great deal of preparations." He said leading the way out of the house, not seeing the cloaked person near the door watching the group walk out. Once they were on the walkway, the cloaked figure brushed up against Eos and within moments, the Star Fleet Captain, was on the ground experiencing convulsions.

Lei saw the man fleeing and yelled at two of his guards to take the man down as he knelt next to Eos "Mei...Get the Doctor here now." He said in Chinese as he motioned for two other guards to carry the fallen man back into the mansion. Unbeknownst to the team at the Governor's mansion, another member of the team had also been attacked but that attacker managed to escape. This one was not as fortunate.

The two guards that had been chasing the cloaked figure returned a short time later with their prey in custody. They had not removed the cloak until they returned.
