: : : : : : : : Von Leeder did just that =^=Unidentified Klingon Vessel this is the USS Saracen. Please respond.=^= He said and then used the universal translator to translate it into Klingon. He glanced back at Corinne "Somehow, this gives me a bad feeling in my stomach." He said waiting for a response from the ship.

: : : : : : : : On the Retarran, Captain B'Ator growled "On screen" She said =^=This is Captain B'Ator of the IKS Retarran. What business have you on this colony?=^= She demanded not giving away why they were there. She eyed Corinne and waited impatiently for an answer.

: : : : : "We are here at the request o the Governor," Corinne said simply. "What about you?"
: : : : :
: : : : : : : As the Klingons returned the Saracen's hail, the pulsar activity increased exponentially, and the communication was intermittent at best until the current wave of pulsars moved off.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : There were pings coming from the scans, indicating some sort of activity coming from the far side of the moon. The scans were disrupted by the increased pulsar activity, but one could see that there was something not quite right.

: : : : : : Jarred starred at the readings at his station, wondering what to make of it. He looked over at Cori not trying to betray his concerns but clearly wanting to know he was getting something as she talked with the Captain B'Ator.

: : : : :
: : : : : Cori caught Jarred's look and signalled to cut the audio on the call for a moment. "What do you have Lieutenant?" she asked the CE.

: : : : "I don't know, I'm getting something from the far side of the moon, but the pulsars are affecting us enough that I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. Whatever it is though, I don't think it is natural." he replied.

: : : "When I give you the signal, go to red alert and arm weapons," SARAH replied. "For now, I don't want to tip our hand. Resume the com line" She turned back and gazed at the Klingon to await their response.

: : "We are here at the request of our people that are living on the planet." B'Ator stated "We are investigating what the situation is and how our people are being affected. What do you know of this situation?" B'Ator asked as she motioned for one of her officers to continue scanning the planet for the problem.

:
: "Depends on what situation you are referring to," the avatar replied, equally vague. If there was some sort of shady event going on on the surface that they didn't know about it, then she didn't want to give out any more info than was needed, or until there was no other option. She would play it cool for now.

B'Ator snarled =^=Our business here is none of yours. We will take care of whatever situation is occurring. Depart the system immediately.=^= B'Ator abruptly closed the channel and began hailing G'Morgh to get an update on the situation. If necessary she had an armed team standing ready to beam down to assist in the forcible take over of the colony. Federation be damned, they would get what was due them, even if it meant destroying the entire colony.

On the Bridge of the Saracen, the Bird Of Prey powered up it's weapons but made no other move to attack. For now it was a standoff. During a break in the Pulsars, Alindor would notice that there was some sort of power signature eminating from the other side of the moon, it was sporadic but now it could not just be a distortion of the pulsar activity.
