The four shuttles insigna moved at pace towards the vessel. Adam kept a eye on the screen, watching for anything unusual.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : Within moments, each shuttle had half of the crew for the freighter and the dead bodies. Most of the crew was in shock as medical began their examinations. The two dead bodies were easy to tell what had killed them. Massive plasma burns on each one.

Standing up he paced around the office then decided to open a channel to the tow ships.

: : : : : : : Somewhat relieved the things went better than expected, Acel'ex relaxed a little more, seeing the freighter towed in and its crew now aboard the Outpost. He simply waited to be dismissed, so he could resume his regular duties.

: : : : : An hour and a half later, chatter could be heard as the tow vessels began slinging actual tow cables up to the freighter. Within moments, impulse flares could be seen as the massive drives on the small vessels went to full power. The cables snapped taught as each ship moved forward slowly at first, then slowly speed up.

: : : As the freighter started to move, Dan moved his fighters to escort the create back to the station.

: Slowly and carefully, the freighter moved toward the station. The tension in the cockpits of the escorts and shuttles was evident but lessened dramatically as the shimmering hull of the Station's assigned Pendragon-class Battlecrusier, the USS Lancer, finally streaked into the formation about hour out from the Outpost. Captain Ramsey hailed the small flottila of craft.

As they crawled along with the freighter Dan sat in his seat reading the latest issue of Waves magazine and occasionally looking at his sensor readouts. =A= acknowledged Lancer. I don't think they're will be much trouble, haven't seen any contacts on my readouts lately=A= he said as he looked at the readouts and back to his magazine =A= on another note Captain, you ever think of upgrading your engines? every time we need you guys your too far away =A= he said casually.
