: : : : Beckett moved slowly into the sick bay . He scratched his nose. Th smell of these places always seemed annoying. Looking toward a nurse he said ,"Excuse me I'm new is there anyone about who could give me my physical?"

: : : "If you take a seat, I'll tell doctor Ermat you're here," the nurse said, before rushing off to. Despite how chaotic sickbay seemed it was only a few minutes before a young Bajorian doctor came to the waiting area.

: : : "Hello, I gather you're New," he said having identified Charles as the only waiting patient, "I'm doctor Ermat. I gather you're here for you're boarding physical?"

: : Charles young face smiled easily as he said ,"Then you would gather correctly Doctor."Charles then moved toward the direction of the bio-bed and took a seat. "Are you busy today sir?"

: "Just a little, there's been a large crew rotation this time," Ermat said, "So is this your first assignment?"

Smiling boyishly Beckett asked ,"Why is it that obvious that I just graduated the academy?" He shook his head . He'd been told often that he had a boyish look. Maybe if he grew a beard? he wondered.
