: The trip to Tantalus was interesting so far. Taigen seemed to flip-flop between curiosity about the shuttle and Ayla and Kyle piloting it, as well as the view out the forward end, and a quiet broodiness that was laced with nervousness and a little fear, though Ayla didn't let on that she picked it up. She was letting the teen get used to the idea that he was to live with Ayla for awhile. She was, after all, just his foster mother until such time as either it didn't work out or things went well enough to discuss possible adoption. But likely none of the three people in the shuttle were remotely ready to entertain that thought just yet.

: "So, why exactly are we going to a prison colony? I mean, it's not exactly a typical vacation spot…" Taigen said, looking over Ayla's shoulder a little.

: Ayla turned and Taigen stepped back to give the Napean space to look up at him. "Because I have unfinished business there from when I worked there and Kyle has something to attend to as well. Do you remember what I told you back at the Centre?" Taigen nodded. "Sometimes in order to move on in your life, you need to face the thing that caused you the pain. In this case, I need to face a person."

: "And that will make things better for you?" the Lumerian asked curiously, noting the ever subtle thread of anxiety through Ayla, though he wasn't really aware that he was in fact aware of it.

: "I don't know," Sharise said honestly. "I hope so. What actually happens remains to be seen."

: "What about you?" Taigen asked Kyle as they drew ever closer to Tantalus. "You going to face demons too?"
