IC: Randy looked up from his paperwork at the cadet standing at the door to his office. Smiling, he gestured to one of two chairs in front of his desk. "Have a seat, cadet." he said, "I assume you have your orders on you?"

OOC: for future reference, we use a series of acronyms for various department heads: CE (Chief Engineer), CMO (Chief Medical Officer), CNS (Counsellor), COS (Chief Of Security), CSO (Chief Science Officer), CO (Commanding Officer, aka Captain) and XO (Executive Officer aka 2nd in command) just something to keep in mind when creating topics set in an office. Also when posting in character, we write in the past tense, like a novel. *passes out a flashlight, a map and some cookies* Welcome Aboard, don't feed the senior staff and don't be afraid to ask questions. we don't bite. really.
