: : : : : : : : : : : : Niniane felt some drops of liquid on her neck and turned all the way around when she heard somebody talking. But the one who had spilled his drink on her was not the voice she heard, that came from behind him. She didn't look though. Her blazingly blue Denobulan eyes were on the Vulcan standing very close to her. A Vulcan with a beard? And it even suited him. Something was unusual about this Vulcan, but she couldn't put a finger on it. 
: : : : : : : : : : : : As usual in such situations, she didn't know what to say, yet she also couldn't look away, although the alieness of her eyes scared quite a few people off.
: : : : : : : : : : : : She pulled down the collar of her uniform, revealing more Trill spots running down her neckline and farther down, brushing away the drops with her other hand, while never loosing the eye contact.

: : : : : : : : : : : The blood rushed to Savor's face and his cheeks turned a dark shade of green. He found himself looking into the most incredibley looking blue eyes he had ever seen and for a few long seconds he was at a loss for words. It didn't help matters that he had embarrassed himself  by spilling drinks on her.

: : : : : : : : : : : He had recognized Peter's voice but his focus  was on the woman. "I am so sorry," he said when his voice came to him. His hand reached out to brush the  offending liquid away, but stopped short. He remembered Jehry telling Sebastian that touching a Trill's spots could be sensuous, so he drew his hand back.

: : : : : : : : : She saw him looking and reaching for her bared neck and realised then how much she was showing him. She quickly released her uniform collar and it slipped back in place. She always had to remember that humans were very shy and conservative about bare skin, which was an alien concept on Denobula, where most gatherings were held in the nude. And didn't that remind her of the constant gawking at her spots!

: : : : : : : : : "Never mind." she said in her soft silent voice and looked at the assorted shots in his hand. Was that real alcohol? Was that all for him? Or also for the Ensign behind him, Peter was his name she remembered.

: : : : : : : : From a quiet corner seat, looking out into space, Dr. Lis realized the lounge had become less desolate. He had been quite engrossed in the plate of human comfort food before him. He now turned his attention to the gathering at the bar.

: : : : : Micah wanted to be alone but not 'alone' so the lounge seemed to be the perfect answer. When she entered there were more people than she'd expected. As she moved to the bar and got a glass of white wine, she spotted Dr Lis at one of the tables. Knowing how counselor's were not sought out for company usually, she made her way over to him. "Mind if I sit?"

: : : : : : : "No," Savor said his face returning to its natural color, "It's my fault, I wasn't paying attention. It doesn't look like any serious damage was done, but I shouldn't have had my head up my, sorry I should have been paying closer attention. Would you care to sit with me? I've got some real booze here."

: : : : : : Niniane eyed the glasses. "I can see that. I'm not into it so much though." she said, wondering if all of that was for him alone. She didn't really fancy sitting with someone because he felt obliged to do so for spilling his drink on her. But then she was also curious. He was not a normal Vulcan, that much was for sure. She knew a few Vulcans and he had showed more emotions already than theey ever had in the years she'd known them.
: : : : : : So she stood up. "But all right." she said, taking her half finished ice cream.

: : : A small smile crept across his face, "Great and if you don't want the whiskey I understand. It can be nasty sometimes but I just, never mind, I was really just feeling sorry for myself. I could actually use the company. Peter if you want to join us that's okay."

: : "Sure, that'd be lovely" Peter said as he went from his seat to their table.

: : : : "Why Counsellor, you are always welcome at my table." He motioned for her to sit. "Though I must warn you, I might not be the best of company while I am finishing this meat loaf dinner. I'm beginning to think that dour mood of Cardassians would be alleviated if we were introduced to these foods."

: : : : He took another bite, savoring it.

: : : : "Oh, and I see we have another new crew member." He motioned to lieutenant Fahr

: : "ah yes, I do not believe that we have met" he casually put out a hand "Peter Sigmundsson" he smiled slightly, in his other hand a small glass of dark red liquid.

: Niniane eyed the hand for a second, then she shook it. "My name is Niniane Fahr." she simply said with a smile and took a seat next to Savor.
