: : : : : Carmen gestured to Joe, since his idea was equally valid. "We should have the civilians return to their quarters or key safe spots no matter what we do. It's up to you Captain what we do with those in dock." She hated the idea of sending away their only possible help but what choice did they have really? How many of them would want to stick around anyway? Joe was right. They did have defences, but if those 25 ships were here for a fight, they likely didn't stand a chance.

"Joe I want you to take personal command of the Security forces and deploy them as you suggested.. Carmen.. " he turned to his XO "liase with anyone that we have docked with us at the moment and see if we can put up a screen or anything that might give us a hand.. " he then moved up towards the science station with Adam and continued to dish out orders "Adam I want a read out of what is going on with their ships.. any chance you can pick up charged weapons or shields.. or learn to read minds.. it would give us an advantage.. and Ops.. stand by with damage control.. get the civvies to the safe places.. "

: : : "Yes sir, my mind reading module is not due to be delivered for another few months with have to make do with what I currently have on hand. Perhaps I should hit them with a navigational request and see if I can infiltrate the computers on the carrier signal, won't do me much good over all but I might get some idea of where they came from and deployment orders." Adam was already scanning for active emissions of any kind. He was also making notes on ways to use all the available drone and probes in defense of the station, if it was using the probes as warp capable torpedos.

: : "Mind reading module?" Joe thought to himself. Then shaking his head he started to step quick and as he did said "Aye Cap."
: : Once outside Sit-Com Joe was on the comm to Taniki ."Teriyaki get everyone together we're going snake hunting! We got 25 Seetha ships inbound with unknown intent. I'll take one team to the docking port and you station the others throughout the outer corridors in good ambush spots. Make 'em ready for a skirmish. And have someone bring me a rifle from the armory!"

: Carmen actually smirked at Adam's comment, which given the tension in Sit-Com was actually welcome at the moment. She turned to face the CMO. "Em, have your team ready to handle possible casualties if things get ugly," she told the doctor as she moved over to Adam's console from her own, waiting to see who was on her list of possible helpers out of those docked.

"Joe I want the Sit-Com locked down and secured.. " Andreev moved from that to a nearby sensor console "I just need a damned reading on if the ships have weapons charged or not... and still we get no communications from them or anything... " Andreev paused and considered the actions and the next few seconds.

"Red alert.... " called the Captain "charge those weapons and stand by for action... "
