: : : : : : : : : : Zoran emerged onto the Bridge just as the female Admiral's face turned into a black screen. He blinked, and immediately knew that they had been given a mission. For a moment the Counselor looked at Torken. He gave a smile smile and inclined his head. Torken's secret was safe with him. After getting a general feel for the Bridge - which was composed of many nervous Cadets due to the new Captain's presence - he walked down to the seat beside Awad, crossed his legs and smiled. "Lt. Commander Zoran reporting for duty, Sir. Am I correct in guessing that we are soon to embark on a mission?" His blue eyes were friendly.

: : : : : : : : : The Nebula he was looking at was simular to the Cat's Eye Nebula but very reddish in its gasious outer cloud formations. The Cadet ran a level 2 Spectral Energy scan. The incoming data was most interesting. He HAD to excuse himself from the bridge and get back to Stellar Cartography lab and run the higher Angular resolution programming.

: : : : : : He took the chair next to the Captain. This would be interesting, he thought to himself. Trial runs after an extended spacedock stay for a refit with an all new crew of cadets usually proved to be problematic.

: : : : : Lt Ellery quietly entered the Bridge and took the tactical station, immediately logging on and running level 1 diagnostics, as a matter of routine, to ensure optimum efficiency of that console. He would listen for a bit, before speaking and only if necessary.

: : : Torken was surprised at the decline to his request at leaving the bridge, yet also delighted to be chosen to take the ship out of space dock. He promptly took the con, waited for the officer in that chair to relinguish the seat. Cadet Torken waited patiently.

: : : The USS Discovery was bigger than the bread box he and his Dad drove around the galaxy delivering isolinear chips and bubble wrapped canisters of who knew what. For Torken the test of all tests, was now before him. That test was to take the ship out of space dock.

: : : With the chair officially his, he sat down and had a once look over at the station before him.

: : : Torken made every move known to all on the bridge. He announced his every intention moments before initiating them. He would have accepted any and all corrections if needed.

: : : with confidence he was finally ready to release the Discovery from the ties that bound it to its home.

: : : "Releasing Starboard docking clamps." he stated. With no comments from command Torken tapped the console in front of him. Bing and bang and grinding can be heard as the clamps released their hold on the hull.

: : : "Releasing aft docking clamps." He stated. moments later he entered the command and the noise could be heard again. the console blinked and beeped as the onboard computer indicated all clamps were released and the USS Discovery was now on its own.

: : : "Ready to depart Spacedock... ( a pause to solicit the Captains order to procede)

: : As the Discovery prepared to leave spacedock, Marci slipped in the back and moved over to the open science station. Quickly checking the settings, he sat back and watched James take them out of the dock.

: Lucas saw the cadet walk in and take the open science station, then resumed monitoring his own console. Ellery always made it his business to keep an eye on all Bridge crew, to ensure nothing would go awry, without his knowledge.

A text message popped up on the CoS's station. I t had come from the Captain's command chair. It read the following:
