: It was later in the evening hours after the CO had turned in for bed and sleep at first sleep was elusive for some reason possibly tension for the high profile mission which would begin the next morning.

: The dream was strange at first. A cobbling of imagery from past missions

Images from his time on the Cairo, to boarding the Dresden and having to deal with the mission to Liiris XII and the woman he cared about being essentially assimilated. Images as well from the past 2 years of being aboard the Dresden, from many missions they performed.

: Eventually the cobbling of imagery shifted to images of death and destruction, views of cybernetic machines and humanoid figures spanning across the planets of the Federation one by one falling before massive starships shaped like a giant crab shaped ship. Sized almost four to five times that of a borg cube in height and length. Smaller ships of similar shape but far smaller about the size of a large limousine shuttle darted about like fighters but carried the firepower of a frigate or cruiser. Ship's of the Federation and her allies fell like flies before the might of these ship's some victories were evident in spots but others there was death and destruction at all turns. As one planet was stripped of its resources it was similarly blown to bits by some sort of planet drilling torpedo that blew it up from the inside out creating massive asteroid fields which were then used to build yet more bases out of the larger rocks.

: Then the imagery shifted again, this time to the CO's quarters itself, he found himself staring outside his windows alone a sense of deep loss in his heart and mind. "..You had to do it.." he heard himself say, "..you had to make a call." he felt like a great decision was weighed upon his chest at those words.

OOC: Curious, if Ylana was here would she be seeing this too? Ylana and Michael do have shared quarters now.

: Then the imagery shifted again this time to the bridge the Dresden was in the heart of a battle of some kind against ship's similar to the ones he had seen before plus others that were more organic like then artificial in nature these were much smaller but still very powerful. Words came as each ship was seen. The organic like ship's were belonging to The Ancients, the massive ships and smaller ones The Elder. The CO felt there had been a break down of some sort of peace talks and now the Dresden was caught in the crossfire of the two races who were shooting in a free for all at all three factions, themselves, and the elder, and the federation crews of the Europa, Dresden and Memorial. Something had gone wrong with the talks, something he felt he was responsible for somehow he had sent the wrong people but whom or who he should have sent was unknown to him in the dream

: Then the imagery shifted again this time the CO was adrift in a sea of darkness and blackness, he felt himself floating in the void of nothingness before a flash came in front of him and despite the darkness their 'stood' Q, "..So my dear Captain you have had the first peek into your future, scared?" he asked.

His eyes were blinded for a moment in the darkness until Q finally appeared. Well, that explained everything. Q...

He kept silent for a moment while his mind put things together. Was it their future? If it was, then he would be sure to change it. If it was to be that way anyway, than there was really no reason to show him.

"Should I be scared?" he said, with an unimpressed look.
