: : : : : : Having watched the first shuttle pod depart Alex was going over the proecedures in his head. He had flown a shuttle pod in the past, more than once. In fact that was how he had made his escape from the Klingon disidents, but that had been years ago and although he had flown a few times since, he knew that he was a little rusty.

: : : : : : He opened up the door, stepped in and began doing a pre-launch flight check as he waited for those on the team who had not made it on the first shuttle.

: : : : : "Commander" Frost nodded as he entered the shuttle. He was anxious to get down to the planet and start work. He would have been on the first shuttle but last minute details delayed him a few minutes.

: : : : "Strap yourself in Mr. Frost," Alex said in way of greeting, "I heard from Pod 1 that it is going to be a rough ride."

: : : "Do we know what happened to them? Injuries?"

: : : Frost strapped himself in as he asked the questions, wondering if they could prepare their shuttle.

: : "No injuries reported, they just had a rough go of it, I'm waiting to hear a full report before we take off. And by the way, it's Alex, not Commander, at least when we're alone or there are only othe senior officers around."

: Micah was the next to arrive. She was fairly chomping at the bit to get down on the planet and begin the investigation. It was a rare opportunity to have a mission that would take place underwater and she was excited for the change.

: Stepping into the shuttle she looked at both men, her gray eyes glittering with excitement. "Are you ready for a real adventure?"
