: Adam stepped through the door with his normal silence, not one to say much most of the time. He understood what needed to be said and who needed to say it to whom, but mostly who did not need to be there when it was said. With efficencey Adam moved to Sit-Com and actually completed the scans, and applied the scattered particles to befuddle eavesdropping devices, in multiple locations station wide to not pinpoint that conference room as important at the moment, in fact if someone was paying attention it did not have anything stopping eavesdropping that was similar to the what was happening else where, instead, Adam set rotating and shifting 3 second forcefields to raise and lower within the walls for the next 2 hours.

: : : They were alone. Carmen got up and moved over to sit in the seat next to Joe. She turned herself to face him and quietly looked him over with her blue eyes. "JI've never been scared to go on an op ever in my life. Does make you feel better to know that I am? I never had anything to really lose before, and even when I did, I lost it and it broke me. There are things you don't know about me, about my time in Intel. I want to tell you, but it can't happen here obviously. But for now I made a promise to Narima that I would help her. You were there when I made it. I never back down from my promises Joe." She wasn't angry at him at all for wanting to take her out of the picture and out of danger. It was sweet and she loved him all the more for it.

: : Joe growled down deep in his throat and said ."Dammit I hate when you do that! That making sense thing. Drives a man crazy! Balling his fists for a moment before releasing them he said,"Okay you do what you have to do. But you have to remember I'm gonna do what I have to do. As soon as they let go of that kid I'll have their worthless hides in my brig or in the morgue."

Carmen reached out a hand and took his, giving it a squeeze. "No, no you won't Joe. One of those guys is on our side. This has to be played straight. But sure as hell, if anything goes off I'll be glad to have you there. But this is one of those times where you got to stick to the plan and follow orders, my orders. Do this for me, please," she pleaded. She had never asked a great deal from people for fear of being disappointed. But then again she rarely got close to them too.
