Lounge on USS Saracen

: : Cori noticed that Alex had slipped out of the Lounge, obviously called away by something. "One of first dates he took me ballroom dancing," she said with a smile, remember that magical night fondly. "I still prefer ballet for solo dancing, but give me a good waltz or tango with a skilled partner and I'm happy."

: Black sat down at a nearby table holding his sides as he chuckled. "Oh.. he does not seem the ballroom dancing type of man.. I can see that you enjoy this though Corinne... though.. I have to say.. that its not the best thing you can do to relax... "
:
"Depends on your point of view I suppose," she replied with a smirk.

: In a sweet voice, slightly tempered by age, Black began to sing. He drew plenty of looks from the crew in the lounge still, even though he had been dancing with a holographic woman a moment ago.
:
: "From the Halls of Klingon Hell
: To the planets born free..
: We fight Starfleet's battles
: In the air, on land and sea
: First to fight for right and freedom
: And to keep our honour clean:
: We are proud to claim the title
: of Starfleet Fleet Marine"
:
Oh Gods, he was signing. While 'Cori' didn't recognize the song, it took mere nanoseconds for 'SARAH' to reference it. Cori couldn't sing and she would have to be really, really intoxicated in order to hear her. So… that wasn't going to happen.

: As Black continued to sing the unoffical hymm that he had learned in the Marine's, he had a few other crewmen come and sit at the table he was at. They all began to join in with the song and continued.
:
: "Our flags unfirled to every breeze
: From dawn to setting sun;
: We have fought in every clime and place
: Where we could take a gun;
: In the snow of far-off Northern lands
: And in the sunny tropic scences;
: You will find us always on the job
: The Starfleet Fleet Marine"
:
: As the little ensemble of crew, Black included, continued to sing and banged their fists on the table in time with the song.
:
: "Here's health to you and to our Corps
: Which we are proud to serve;
: In many a strife we've fought for life
: And never lost our nerve;
: In the Fleet and in the MACO
: Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
: They will find the Starships are guarded
: by Starfleet Fleet Marine"
:
: Black, CMO

Cori was glad they were enjoying themselves, but felt now really awkward. People seemed to either ignore her or give her uncertain looks when she was around, so at the moment she was both in the limelight and completely forgotten. It was very strange. "I don't sing," she said simply. She supposed the correct answer was that Corinne Dalton couldn't sing. SARAH probably could very well, but she wasn't sure she wanted to.
