: : : Eugene pondered the question for a long time turning his head back and forth as he tried to come up with a solution to the question, “Well I have been fascinated by many things. Everything from how we can travel Warp Speeds, to how little micro organisms can transform grain and hops to a delicious beverage.” He held up his empty glass and gave it a slight wiggle. “The universe is filled with things I don’t understand and have filled me with awe and wonder. Many I will never understand and some I will. Ultimatly though I enjoy spending my days in solemn wonder of the things that go on around me and try hard not to break our fellow crew mates.”

: He laughed, “I suppose that we are only forbidden from helping those without warp technology, not those with rustic technology.” Eugene shuffled in his chair for a moment looked around. “So when do your officially report for work?”

La'kia titled her head, seeming confused. "Officially? As in when are my shifts? Or you thinking I'm new here and haven't reported for duty yet?" she asked, without any trace of annoyance. The question didn't bother her, she just didn't know how to respond.
