"And trust me Doc, if I wasn't on the ship any longer, it wouldn't have been a willing departure," she added, almost darkly. The future was impossibly hazy at the moment and all she could do was wade forward slowly and hope she didn't disappear into the shadows.

: : : : Tohala leaned in a bit and spoke so only he could hear her. "It's best if you don't know details and aren't involved, but suffice to say, I actually like my new career and want to stay. If I left it would be because I was forced to and it wouldn't likely be an honourable way to go."

: : : Matty looked up as Kor left. She turned back to her glass of wine and sighed. Well at least if she had a couple more glasses of wine, she might be able to sleep without breaking anything or sleep walking.

: : After a few moments Benjamin stood up, it took him about a minute to regain his balance but he moved to the CE "Dy'a mind if I join ye" He said his accent slipping up again.

: Elliath watched the medical officer with a smirk. Elliath smirked, remarking on how happy he was to be gay, given how intent the CMO seemed to be on making impressions with the female senior staff members. 'Atta-boy,' he thought to himself, before downing a few ounces of scotch.

Matty gestured to the chair "Help yourself." She said taking another sip of her wine "I'm Madison Sullivan." She said "Call me Matty. I'm the chief engineer." She said quietly playing with her earring
