: : : : : : : : : Daniel noted that things seemed to dumb down and as Faye had walked out, brushing right past him, he decided to head out as well. He wasn't exactly a socialite, and if he were going to talk, it probably would have been with Faye. She seemed to be feeling a bit uneasy as she left, so he felt he could give her some time to herself. Perhaps later, he would meet her and talk about things after some time. He turned then, and proceeded out the door.

He had been quietly getting drunk since Faye had left. She was the only crewperson he had actually had more then a few words with.

: : : : : : : "Great idea boyo" Magnus said as he grabbed a shot and downed it, he grabbed two more shots and walked to Mallory, handing one of the shots to her "so Cavenaugh, it would seem that our scientist has a friend, Peter told me that she wasn't very outgoing, really didn't believe him till I met her, she seems nice enough though" he said in a low voice, he then smiled "and John Doe over there, don't get me started on him, it's quite the crew you have here" he took a small sip now, he was never much of a drinker but he knew how to handle poison.

: : : : Mallory looked up at Magnus "She's been through a lot." She said "She'll warm up eventually. But she is not really a very social person." Mallory took the shot and downed it and looked at her first officer "Is it just me or does everyone seem to be edgy?" She asked

: : : : : : John Doe did not realize that he was being talked about, but his eyese flicked around the room. Seeing not immediate danger his shoulders relaxed somewhat and he took a shot, downed it in one easy gulp and got another.

: : : : : Early looked at the helmsman sending shots about, and spilling them making a mess, having watched one altercation averted already he decided that perhaps that someone needed to intervene. Since no one seemed likely to at the moment, it was an NCO's job to gently remind the young officers when they are close to crossing a line. Adjustin the sword to swing easier as he approached the table, he laid his hand on the bottle, "Lieutenant, perhaps that is enough for tonight, do not want to waste all of it on one blow out." Jubal said quietly and easily making certain it was pitched for Akeceheta ear alone, it was not intended to embarass just as advice.

: : : : Mallory watched everything that was going on, but didn't intervene in anything. She simply watched ready to step in if needed. She looked back at her first officer and shook her head "I don't know...it just doesn't feel right."

: : Mallory shook her head "I don't know Magnus. It just feels like I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall. So to speak." She said "I'm used to being around the dressed up marines, the happy drunks and even those that don't know who they are. It just feels like there is something else here."

Jubal spoke as he approached, having heard the shift in conversation, he was not sure he would be a welcome intrusion but he should at least pay his respects to the ship's master and commander. "Sir not even Cardassians trust other cardassians, so I would be likely to believe your mistrust is not invalid over all."
