: : : : Belle smiled, and laughed, "Oh him, ", as she reached up and tickled him under the chin, "Not really sure where he is from, I got him a ferengi trader, cost me half a years salary to get him, but as soon as I seen him, I could not leave him there, I realized he was smart, but he was able to form sum sort of empathic bon wit me, when he is happy as he is righ now, it makes me happier, and him too, sum times it can get a bit hectic. When I get mad, he gets mad, so it taught me to be bit mor 'ontrolled in my thinkins" Belle strtiched Nico again, as he flirted his tail and preened on her shoulder. He then wrapped his tail protective around her neck. "I am no sure what will happen when one of us goes along"

: : *That didn't take long,* Kallen mused to herself as she realized that the unofficial counselling third-wheel syndrome kicked in as usual. It was okay though; maybe when they got to the Lounge, it would be better. Or maybe not. Hard to say just yet. All Kallen knew was that she had been busy enough with work lately that she really needed to be more social.

S'Raal looked at Kallen with a stricken expression on his face and the tips of ears went bright red. "I'm so sorry Kallen, that was unforgiveable of me. I am indeed new here and unfortunately making a bad impression already". He nodded at Nico "My only excuse was my fascination with this little creature and that is still inexcuseable".

: "He does seem to sense others and can sometimes warn me if people mean to do bad things to me or others. Far as I be knowin we do not share dreams, but I have no had any nightmares since we came boon companions though," Belle answered simply, though she now wondered what all changed with her adoption of Nico, or his adoption of her. She knew that things were different, she had never loved anyone or anything the way she loved the little critter on her shoulder.
