: : The ride over would have been much more tolerable had she not been toting her screaming toddler along with her. Lillian, or Lil as Dev was prone to call her, obviously did not like shuttle rides. And of course Levi was no where around to help her out, he had bolted for the Saracen as soon as he got his orders, taking his daughter Leesa along with him. Not that he was ever much help. Dev hadn't argued when he left, grateful to avoid further marital proposals from Levi. She was running out of excuses.

: : Of course, Dev, new to motherhood, often felt in over her head. If you'd told her two years ago she would be raising a child of Levi Keller's she would have punched you in the mouth. Needless to say, this is not where she expected to be. And yet, years later, returning to where it all started, the Saracen, and back to her old position, CSO, felt oddly reasurring. As if she really were returning home. Would being back on the Saracen open her heart to Levi? Dev laughed audibly at the idea.

: : The sound of her snicker caught Lil's attention. She gurgled and cooed at her mother and a small smile formed on the tiny toddler lips. Dev was often caught off guard by the strength of emotion she felt toward her daughter and she was surprised by it now. "Ah, my darling. Why must you look so much like that father of yours?" *At least she has my nasal ridges,* Dev thought.

: : "Approaching the Saracen, Ma'am," the pilot reported. Dev strained to see her familiar ship. Lil started screaming again.

: : Hours later, and properly settled into the quarters, Dev figured it was time to report in. She had thus far managed to avoid Levi and hoped to contine to do so.

: : She easily found the XO's office, having been there many times before, usually to be dressed down for one thing or another. This time would be different, she decided.

: : Her face stoic, her posture stiff, she firmly pressed the chime and waited.

: After a pause, the response came to "Enter!" Molor was in his ready room. The Klingon was drinking from a steaming mug of coffee as he worked on some data PaDD's litering his desk. There were a few potted plants decorating the room and a few symetrical clay pots.

: "How can I help you?" He asked, relieved to be interrupted from his work, at least for a little while.
