: : : T'Pris nodded once to the aCSO showing she had heard and understood him as she thumbed through her data padd and clicked receive on it so the information he had forwarded began to download. She noted absently that it was information on the Breen. A species she had had brief contact with once on the Valkyrie so she was aware of some of the information though she certainly wouldn' t have anything current unless it had been made public.

: : The Zaharan's gold eyes widened and confusion spread over her elven features. "Wait? Where's Rosetta?" she asked. She had heard nothing about her friend going anywhere and losing her position. What was going on?!

: A few of the younger StarFleet personnel also echoed La’kia’s concerns. It was common, even for positions in the civilian sector, to have abrupt changes and people had to be gone before they could say good bye to their friends. Wanting to address this issue early in the meeting, he was glad it had come to light from one of the civilians, and especially from La’kia, someone that was still learning the ways of StarFleet.
:
: “In my briefing, I was told that Lieutenant T’Parr resigned her position here on the Genesis, and with StarFleet all together.” As Hadrian looked around while giving this information out, he settled his condoling gaze onto the young Zaharan’s face, “I am not privy to her motives or reasons for the decision.”
:
La'kia's child-like face looked stunned. Resgination? Hadrian had no idea just how important Rosetta had been to the Zaharan in learning to acclimate to the ship.

: Not wanting the crew to find out the rest of the upheaval within the command structure, Hadrian added, “Along this concern, the Genesis also has a new acting executive officer and medical officer, as they too have resigned for reasons unknown to me.” Sure it was starting to sound like an espionage holonovel, but he wanted to get all the information out there and let them decide for themselves. It would not help anyone if these issues were buried and could cause havoc during the mission.

Slim, taupe fingers from her right hand slid over her left to cover the the rather stunning ring on La'kia hand. While she was clearly missing crucial information, some of the facts started to click together. Whatever danger Julien was getting into, it looked like T'Parr and Brennan were being dragged into it as well. But he hadn't told her he had resigned! It wasn't an insignificant detail and feeling the dread and fear creep over her, La'kia supposed she understood why Julien hadn't told her that much, but considering he had asked her to marry him, she thought him giving up his career for whatever insane away team mission he was going on might have been a reasonable detail to share with her. Now she felt angry!
