Everett offered as he went to the far side of his office, opposite the window. There was a row of five very dusty filing cabinents and when Everett opened one up, a dancing group of dust went up in a cloud. "Uh, I don't think anyone has looked through the records for awhile."

: : : : : : : "Apparently so," Talia replied with a smirk. "If ye be wanting to do things properly, yer probably lookin' at 100-150 hectares o' land fer growing foodstuffs and then double that fer the livestock operation. Also factor in land space fer the community as well."

: : "I think that is doable. The only issue I see is resources, as in hands to do the work. I am not sure how big your science department is because it's military but i can tell you that at this moment, we have no civilian scientists here." Everett replied as he frowned slighty.

"I've some thoughts on that as I was stationed on Cestus III awhile back. I can probably rustle some people. If we can afford to do so, it be a good idea to hire people on contract fer the project on a short term basis for each stage as we be needin' different types o' people for different things. I'll speak to Starfleet Science Operations as well, since I am attached here through them."

First contact?! The words made the scientist perk up even more than she already was considering the massive project she being asked to help run. The possibilities of the new dome were endless. But her attention was now focused on the ensign and the Governor. "Would ya be wanting me to stay Governor?" offerring to help if needed.
