What he had in mind wouldn't be a permanent fix, but it would at least keep the bridge crew alive long enough for his team to get there and help with evacuation.

: : As Ellery exited the Bridge, he smiled inwardly, seeing how well Cadet Jericho was taking charge. He was pleased with his correct initial assessment of this young man. Ellery then made his way to Engineering, to see how it can serve as an auxiliary bridge.

Nodding, Lucas turned to Jericho. "Understood, Commander. You heard him. Double up, everywhere!" ordered the chief, as he continued toward the lift to get to Engineering.
