: : : Alexander spent a few minutes making sure his quarters were ship shape, and nothing overly incriminating was on display. He had rather expansive quarters for a mere dimplomatic laison on a starfleet vessel. He has appointed them with many touches that made it feel like was home. Different pieces from dozens of worlds, each with a story to tell. He paused and opened the cage to put food into the large cage he kept his pet budgie Tom in. Then set the table. He replicated elegant table wear, and dishes, then actually went began to order many small dishes to share. He was going to win the CSO over to his way of thinking one way or another.

: : It was with great resignation that Jusaro found herself at the retired Admiral's quarters. This was the only evening she had free for his little dinner escapade and was glad he had accepted that. Then again, he had *instructed* her to have this 'meeting', rather than ask if it was agreeable and he used the full power of his previous rank to do so. So far, he was gaining strikes against him, and while she wanted to wanted to attend this dinner with an open mind, she was having a hard time actually preparing herself to do so. To at least make the attempt at doing so, so opted to ditch the uniform simply because if she was in uniform then maybe he'd feel the need to exercise his rank again and she didn't want to give him the opportunity. Not that he had any clue who she was at all, nor would it likely matter, but she had never been one to flaunt her status ever.
: : She was dressed in a red/black iridescent skirt that was straight and fell to her ankles, and a short sleeve white blouse that was layered and semi-sheer, with a high neck and a line of ruffles that followed her collarbone. All in all it was formal look and very modest and paired with simple low black heels. Her black and pink hair was actually pulled off her face and rolled into a french twist at the back of her head, rather than in it's usual pigtails. Marina arrived at the door and pressed the chime.

: Alexander looked up at the sound of the chime, and nodded to himself, "Enter" He was dressed simply in a black suit that was reminscent of the uniform he had worn for years, but bore no oranmentation. As the door opened he faced it with a warm and open smile. "Good you made it, Care to start with a drink, Milady?", Alexander said as he took in the woman that was before him, not in uniform, she was rather striking, but that was not part of this evening.
Milady… how oddly appropriate, not that he likely would know that. "If you insist," she replied coolly,
: Alexander was moving towards the side bar, that held ice and glasses as well as decanters with unlabelled contents. He dropped two peeled frozen wedges of lime. into a glass, then a splash of tonic, before adding something clear from one of the decanters, then stirring the entire affiar with a cinnamon stick. "That is a good look for you, I think we tend to grow to used to the uniform instead of regular clothing."

"These are appropriate garments for a semi-formal occasion on Zalda," she said simply. "When I am off-duty, I do not wear my uniform." Marina still stood a few paces inside the door and watched him prepare the drinks. She was trying to not be tense, but still felt very wary of this man.
