The ship was 2.5 minutes away by shuttle which would give Voort and his team 3.5 minutes to locate survivors and get them off the ship, luckily the ship was very small, there were only a few places to search.

: : : : : : Adam began to move the shuttle into position, there wasn't much margin for error trying this sort of manouver. "Computer location of life signs?" He asked as the shuttle hatch attached to the stricken vessel.

: : : : ~There are two lifesigns in the aft section of the vessel.~ the computer brought up a schematic on the console. The lifesigns were located in what looked like the bridge of the ship. It was not far from where they were docked.

: : : Adam took a mental note of the position of the alien bridge. He didn't have time to down load it onto a PaDD. He looked to the NE next to him, " you have nav wait a few minutes if I am not back you're to get to a safe distance." He then swung his chair around and quickly headed for the door grabbing a tricorder and a small medi-kit.

: : : Luckily for Adam the bridge wasn't to far from the hatch. He ran down the narrow corridors to a open door. Ducking under the not quite opened door he looked around. " Hello," he shouted, " I'm Lt. Voort of the united federation of planets, your near one of our outposts."

There was a faint rustle coming from the corner, followed by a very soft voice.

"...help...us..." a weak voice called out.

The bridge of the Karin'chi vessel was in total disarray, most of the consoles were offline or malfunctioning and the hull was beginning to disintegrate. On the floor in front of the only other door was one of the aliens. He was approximately 6 feet tall with pale green skin. He had an impressive plumage of turquoise and blue feathers on his head. On the deck next to him was a silver case.

On the other side of the bridge there was another alien slumped over a console. As Adam approached, the second figure shakily looked up from the console, a look of desperation in his striking blue eyes. He reached out a skinny arm towards Adam.

"...please...please help...me..." he mumbled before collapsing back down on the console.
