: Marina had to admit she was puzzled at the offer to join Nadie for dinner. But she supposed it wasn't entirely strange, after all they had both started out as junior officers when the ship first was commissioned and both now were the head's of their respective departments. Walking through the Promenade, Jusaro took in the bustling crowd frequenting the shops and restaurants. It was also hard to miss the gambling and food establishment that one could say was the keystone of the entire commercial area on the station.

: Dressed in her standard duty uniform, the half-Zaldan, with her black and pink pigtails, looked around for her shipmate.

: "Welcome to Quark's Lieutenant. Might I offer you a beverage and a chance to test your luck? Half-price at the dabo tables for the next twenty minutes only…" a Ferengi male told her with a wide smile and a slight swagger to his gestures.

: "Perhaps a beverage, but there is no such things as luck and I am not interested in gambling," Marina replied. "I am meeting a shipmate for a meal."

: "Ah, dinner with a friend! Well, we're all friends here," the Ferengi commented.

: Marina looked at him blankly for a moment and blinked twice. "No, we are not," she said flatly as she looked around for Nadie.

: Quark shrugged and left her alone for the time being, muttering, "Zaldans…" under his breath.

Nadie had already found a table and waved Marina over "Did the Ferengi try to sell you on the dabo tables?" She asked chuckling "They're rigged. I've been watching them and they only hit on certain numbers at certain times." She said "How are you doing?" Nadie asked, she was looking much more relaxed than she had in recent days.

The Ferengi came over for their drink orders. Nadie ordered a peach necter with seltzer water and an order of indian fried bread with honey and butter.

"How are things going in the Science Lab?" Nadie asked as she watched some of the people coming and going.
