Main Engineering- Side Sim on USS Saracen

: : Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored. That was what he was. On a ship this large, Taigen thought he was going to go crazy! He did his lessons as Ayla instructed but there was only so long he could pay attention to exobiology, algebra and the stupid History of the Federation. He needed to get out.
: : So he did.
: : He was rather tall, so most people didn't even really notice that he was just a teenager and probably shouldn't even be on this deck unaccompanied. It made slipping into the upper level of main engineering easy, since there were a few civilian techs around and his not wearing a uniform wasn't immediately a warning sign.
: : Seeing the warp core from a distance, he grinned. *Cool…* he thought and unobtrusively moved around the balcony space to a part of the safety railing and peered down, watching people below him work. The Chief's office was down there, so he was keeping out of line of sight, knowing he'd be in trouble if he was caught here unescorted.
: : Moving away, he approached a console and eyed it, pondering what all the buttons did. Oh he wanted to touch one. He knew what some of them did and could probably access a reading or two, but beyond that he had no clue. The thought of how angry Ayla would be if she found out what he was doing made him smirk. He was grateful to the woman, but she was so damn strict! It was as if she was waiting for him to screw up or something.
: : He peered into the glossy console that bore his reflection and he mused over it, remembering times when his reflection looked so different from what it should ahve, or at least how he knew himself to look. Unwanted, cast aside as not loveable, yes Taigen never did like his reflection after that.
: : ~Taigen Zotel
: Cursed with questions unanswerable by anyone, including and most of all, himself. On the verge of self discovery and awareness better left not knowing, yet needed for connections to others. Meaningful invisible threads that bound loved ones together or forever held them apart. Across the spans of universes, millions, no billions, of souls, and yet everyone alone in that search of the one basic question needing, demanding to be answered. Who am I?
: Or boredom and the need to release pent up sexual hormones as any other adolescent. Levi sat with his feet propped up on his desk, and his long frame stretched back watching the kid on the monitor. He was surprised SARAH hadn't taken off all his old hidden security access. Maybe, he mused, she used them herself to spy on the crew. As integrated as she was into all the ship's systems, she had to have known all his "back doors". Hell, she might even know where his stash of stolen panties where hidden.
: Now what to do about junior. "Computer, give me everything you have on civilian Taigen Zotel."
: Keller, CTO
Instead of data scrolling across his screen, a familiar pale face with shiny black hair and unnaturally vivid blue eyes peered back at him, frowning. "Don't you have something better to do?"
