: Erica let out a slight laugh, smiling sincerely for the first time in what seemed like months! And GOSH it felt good. She searched the room as if searching her own life for answers. "I think that may be it..." she laughed again, this time bitterly.

: : Serena looked at Erica "I know it's hard right now....but you've got to at least fake that you're okay." She said "You can break down after your dad leaves." Serena said encouragingly "Beside, you have me here. I'm not going to let anything happen if I can."

: Erica stood and hugged Serena tightly, holding back tears. "Remind me not to let a week go by before I see you again." It'd been too long since they talked, and she needed someone. Life was taking too much a of tole on her. Maybe she'd pass her father's evaluation after all...

Serena nodded "Count on it." She said "We'll have dinner once a week just to keep things on an even keel." She said as she started cleaning up Erica's quarters "Come on let's get this done so you can get a good night's sleep." Serena said "Just keep your wits about you and know that you can come yell at me once you get done." She said continuing to clean.
