: : : : : : : On hearing the call, Julien and being shocked at his misperception of how much time they had until departure he redirected the Turbolift he was in to the Combat Information Center giving the necessary verifications over.

: : : : : : : Stepping out into the center, he moved over to the Operations area standing by the console. Accessing the terminal through his credentials, Captain Andone's desk console would alert her that the Ops Manager was now manning Operations area in the CIC.

: : : : Xavier sat in his CIC chair and awaited the final go ahead to depart. He knew the inspection was a necessary thing but he wanted to get going in order to assist the people in need. It had been a long time since the AA was used, Nimitz or this new one, to simply go and help people out.

: From Operations a view of communications, systems and operating levels were presented. Right now his key concern was locking down the extension between Starbase 243 and the ship. There was still an overlap with Starbase Personnel aboard the ship's company noted as being aboard the Starbase. Internal records showed Starbase personnel on the AA to be logistics staff overseeing the last of Cargo transfers to the ship. Accessing the Cargo Bays intercom, Julien sent a message waving after the Captain's, to be heard only by those in the Cargo Bays. =/\= Attention Attention. The USS Ark Angel is preparing to depart. Embarked persons not forming ship's company to proceed to Transporter Room 4 on Deck 8 immediately. =/\=

: Non-Crew Members aboard the Angel was completely different to members of ship's company being late returning to the ship. Punctuality was essential, the ship could not afford these interruptions to its functioning. A similar communication was directed to the Comm badges of those still on Starbase 243. =/\= Report to your station immediately, the ship is preparing for departure. Failure to comply will result in likely disciplinary action. CIC out. =/\=

: Moments later, a beep notified him that Crew levels were in equilibrium, to the expectations of the Embarked Manifesto. He raised his voice, to be audible to the command team, "Crew transfusion complete. Operations standing by for departure."

"Very well Lt.Commander. Ensure we are in coordination with the Task Force and prepare for the Captains Command to leave the Starbase." Xavier ordered.

Xavier liked having a Ops Officer. It was a load off of him for the first time in years. He knew he would have to take his hand off the wheel at times and trust Operations to give him and the Captain good and up to date information. However Vincenzo seemed very well qualified to do that. With that said he would expect a lot out of the 2nd Officer and expected him to deliver.
