: : : During years of service, Munro had visited dozens if not thousands of starbases, and DS9 was one of them. Ten years? Twelve years? He thought very hard, but couldn't remember. The promenade was almost the same as he had remembered. He hoped that Quark's Bar still sell good beer as he had remembered.

: : Teri McDermit had been hauling freight for ten years. She could have joined Star Fleet if she had wanted to, but she wasn't one for all those rules and regulations that Star Fleet would have thrown at her. She was too independent for that.
: :
: : Besides, some of the cargo she hauled wasn't exactly on the "approved" list. She was in Quark celebrating the consumation of a very lucartive deal. She was sitting at the end of the bar. Her blonde hair hung loose almost to her shoulders. Her blue eyes missed little.
: :
: : She watched as a good looking man dressed in a teal Fleeter uniform. ~Sciences or Medical~ she thought to herself. As he walked towards her, she flashed him a smile. She thought it a bit cheesy to say "Hey sailor, come here often?" So she just took a sip of her Andorain Ale and kept her silence. If he was interested he could make the approach.

: Munro raised his eyebrows, he was planning to have a drink and grab something to eat quietly. He saw a lady at the end of the bar looking at him. With the blonde hair and blue eyes, he had to admit she looked charming. However, she also looked sophiscated. Could she be someone he met during his service in the Marine? "Whisky, on the rock." He gestured to Quark as he walked towards Teri.
:
: Munro sat down next to Teri and asked "Have we met before?"

She gave him a slight smirk, "No, I don't think so," she replied, "I would have remembered. Teri McDermit at your service. I would have marked you as a Scotch man myself. I guess I must be slipping in my old age."
Simon aka Teri.
