She said "I haven't had much time to wander down and see if you needed anything repaired or what not." She said "But I was also asking in a round about way, how you were." Nadie said "How has your day not gone according to plan? Anything I can do to help?"

: While Zaldans were blunt and honest, they did have a sense of privacy and knew when not to talk about certain things. they would rather keep quiet and say nothing, than tell a white lie to get out of it. At the same time, Marina knew it would become public rather quickly. "The department is running well, though I've had conflict with that JAG consultant they brought in."

Physically I have recovered from my near-death experience, but the social repercussions for Zalda weigh on my mind, even more now that I have been ordered back to testify." She had not talked about the attempt on her life with many people, though it was likely something most of the crew had at least heard about, senior staff more so given that disastrous staff meeting.

Nadie nodded "Is there anything I can do to help you out. I can alway lock the JAG consultant in a closet somewhere and forget the location if that would help." She said light heartedly but it was evident that she was serious about offering help to the CSO "Seriously, if you need anything let me know and I'll do what I can." She said as the waiter came over to refill their drinks.
