: : : : : : NE Roberts watched the countdown to the alien ships detonation carefully. He opened a comm line to the whole outpost.

: : : : : : As he said 1, an unusually large explosion rocked the outpost, lurching the whole structure to the side. Several fires broke out as well as a number of micro hull breaches along the side facing the now obliterated ship. Injury and damage reports started to come in.

: : : : : Adam was walking out of the shuttle bay when the call came over the comm. The shuddering blow was so intense it knock both him and Ince off their feet.

: : : : : The breif case had slipped from the grasp of Ince and slide along the floor.

: : : : Ince mumbled something about letting the cat out this evening then giggled like a little girl as he drifted in and out of conciousness.

: : : : Behind them in the shuttle one of the aliens let out a pained cry and grasped his head. "I can't...! I can't stop....stop it!" the older of the two screeched. "Krai! Krai! Where are you?!" Pron fumbled around, trying to locate his companion, clearly his eyesight had failed him. Krai weakly sat up and gently took his friend by the shoulders. "I'm here Pron, right here..." he whispered.

: : : : Pron broke down and started singing a quiet lament, he knew his time was coming. "Krai..." Pron's voice was barely audible. "We have to stop it...I didn't know...it's not my fault..." he sobbed as he slid down the bulkhead and slumped in a heap, his once bright and proud plumage turning a deep shade of grey as the life drained out of him. Krai held his friend tight, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I will Pron...I will," he promised softly, gritting his teeth at the pain which was now racking his body.

: : : Acel'ex was walking toward his office when the entire outpost shuddered, nearly knocking him off his feet. "What the hell...?" muttered. =/\= Acel'ex to Security teams! Report!" =/\= he bellowed, having slapped his badge.

: : Maria groaned as she stood up from the floor of her quarters. Apparently her comlink hadn't gotten the message about bracing. She'd stopped off to change to a different pair of boots, her comfortable ones. The new ones were replicated just slightly off. =^=Beckett here. I'm fine. No idea what's going on Chief,=^= replied the Ensign. She was getting tired of things blowing up around the station, and was starting to feel like some macabre milkshake.
