Captains Log, Stardate 11052.4 : As of today I have completed my first mission with my new crew As captain of the USS Asimov. I would like it noted for the record that given the same circumstances as out last mission there is no crew I would rather serve with. This past mission has put us face to face with a planet wide disaster, an evil psychopath, kidnapping, and sabotage yet even in the face of all of it This crew kept their wits about them and managed to stop Ral and help save the planet.

"Captain's log, Stardate 10101.6," Jim said sat infront of the camera on his console. He took a sip of the steaming drink then looked straight into the camera.

Captain's Log, Supplemental.

We have just sent a boarding team over to the USS Nolo to investigate her appearance in the Neutral Zone. I am hoping that Norlag will be able to get the Asimov's attention - I am certain that the Romulans that occupy our bodies would like to switch back into their own as much as we would and by working with each other on familiar systems we are more likely to achieve this. At the moment however we are under the watchful eye of more senior Romulans.

Captain's Log, Stardate 09061.7 Captain Jim Merrett recording. I arrived at my Ready Room this morning to find Commander Akasha waiting to see me. She has lost confidence in her command ability. After short conversation, it became clear that I was not going to be able to get her to change her mind. Thankfully she has not resigned her commission as an officer. After reviewing my options I have relieved her of her XO Duties. She will be taking the Chief Engineer Position over from Jack Creed whom I have promoted to Executive Officer.

Captain's log stardate 09032.8 Jim Merrett Recording. As of 18:50 today I have assumed command of the USS Asimov following mutual agreement of my early transfer with Captain Mike Puttick, CO of the USS Jennifer Cole and Commander Akasha, Acting CO of USS Asimov. Commander Akasha has assumed her previous role of Executive Officer.

Captain's Personal Log, Stardate 09030.2. Well I've just been promoted to Captain and received transfer orders... The Asimov. It's been 5 years. To this day I remember being nervous as hell the first time I went on the bridge. I was a young ensign, straight out of the Academy, and I was shaking so bad. Captain Thwayya told me my parents would be proud of me. I'm sure they would have been, and they would again now, following in their footsteps, taking the centre seat.
