Captain's Log, Stardate 01091.9

I have much work to do.

The Curie and her crew are currently in dire straits. The ship is currently infested with mines and other explosives making her hostle even to her own crew. With the loss of their former Captain, Commander Batta, the crews morale is low.

My first orders are to rest both man and machine. I have ordered repairs and recreation for all concerned. I have requested light duty from Starfleet command during this downtime. It is only their will that wil tell if it will last.
