Background: Isabel was born to Heather and Tra-tou Thomas (took his wife’s name because they were going to live on Earth). Her mother was Human and her father Vulcan. Growing up on Earth and having a dual heritage was a struggle. Being half Vulcan she still had the ears and much of the time she found herself in conflict with both sides. At school she was mocked and many times she got into scuffles with other students who taunted her. It was a difficult time for her but as she grew up she learned to accept both sides of her and found that both of her cultures were tied together by a moral center. This realization helped her to get grow up and become the person she wanted to be. In school, she was a very bright student, especially in English. She loved analyzing literary works. She was also a good problem solver and many times her friends would ask her for advice. So, when it came time for her to choose a career, she chose Star-fleet Counseling. She want an adventure like the one she read in books and the organization was her best choice. Her first assignment after graduation was a starbase. There she helped to mediate disputes and counseled many of those there with personal issues. When it came time for a promotion, she was swiftly reassigned to the Curie and wasn’t informed of the nature of the mission till her arrival.

Personality Profile: Though Isabel is half human, she takes more to the logical, Vulcan roots of her father. Therefore her demeanor is quite dry as Vulcans go. However, when her human side does show through, it is in subtle humor.

Physical Description: Isabel has a petite frame and is very short. Her hair is long and jet black and is usually tied up in a regulation bun, no matter the occasion. But, despite her size, she has great agility and has the ability to be an asset in hand to hand combat.
