G’aveer is the son of He’nar (father) and L’anir. (mother). He is the firstborn son, with an older sister (L’ani) and two younger brothers (H’eer, and M’reel). As firstborn son, he takes the title as heir apparent of the Sixth Teer, to which is father is the elder and rules.

He grew up on Capella, which was a developing world. It joined the Federation as a ‘ally’ state if not an actual member world when he was a child and was present in the inauguration ceremony. It was there that he saw the potential and might of the Federation and sought, with the blessing of his father, to see what the Federation holds for honor and whether they should in the future petition for membership. There was one such representative from each Teer clan that did this.

Capellans are tall and swift; G’aveer no less so being just above average. Because of his station he is careful to act with honor and not to sully the name of his clan. He is unmarried, trusting in his family to arrange a marriage when it is time to do so. Still partly feudal, G’aveer knows the danger of having challenges with children politically to his future leadership and heirs so is careful to be distant this way in any relationships. In these, however, he is not well prepared. He is a warrior and the arts of relating socially to the opposite gender is challenging to him – and a puzzle.

His typical Starfleet dress is of Starfleet norm – plus his headdress (Capellan) that covers the long topknot that he has for hair, and a colored sash denoting his Teer clan. Of course he always has his kli’gat on his belt, again a show of his nationality.
