: : : I would like to reiterate something that is mentioned on the MOTD, which people seem to be ignoring.
: : :
: : : DO NOT CREATE SPURIOUS AND UNNECESSARY TOPICS! "Nominations" is a perfectly reasonable topic. There is NO REASON to add "-Second" or "-Accepting" to the topic. None. All it does is make it HARDER to find notes in the future because you are breaking the search functionality. (Yes, I am capitalizing because I am indeed shouting.)
: : :
: : : Let me repeat that: Creating unnecessary and pointless topics *breaks the search functionality*.
: : :
: : : The next dimwit who ignores the MOTD and creates a pointless topic fork will be temporarily banned from posting on the Election Ship. I encourage you to stick to established topics and not test what "pointless topic fork" means.
: : :
: : : Just so that we're all clear on that.

: :
: : A question for the EC (I don't want to get banned, temporarily or otherwise)
: :
: : So, if we want to ask a question to all the candidates ... is it best to post it in the campaign HQ for each ticket, or would a topic called 'Questions for Candidates be fine?
: :
: : - Russ
:
: Thats a good question Russ, as i want to ask a question to all the Candidates but i do not want to anger the Gods of the election lol.
:
: TJ

"Questions for the candidates" is fine. The only problem is Cale put a period in there for no good reason. Bah! Cale!

When replying in that thread, be a dear and fix that would you folks? :-)
