Comments: The Ark Angel remains active and is humming along. We recently obtained a new CE yet again. I hope this one sticks around. Former STFer and Ark Angel crew member Paul Brearly has returned as our CTO. It is always a pleasure to see ancient crew members come back.

We do have an issue with the MOTD not rendering correctly in IE. I encourage all crew members to switch to Firefox. :P

As for the sim, we are about to board one of the missing ships within the Grane Anomaly. This will be our XO Sam Bibb's first away team mission since coming aboard.

Comments: -- What to say...

What started off as a pretty poor month for the AA has ended on a pretty good note. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Nehemiah Salo and Devin Grover. This left a hole in our DH Staffing and our already low Science Staffing.

Bearing in mind at this point I was severely... down. Fortunately, after 1-2 Weeks in a coma, I stepped out and read three applications and sent off one invitation. All four were successful and I am proud to announce the following have joined the AA.

Andy Dillingham

Paul Brearley

James Farley

Courtney Powers

A huge welcome to you all!

On another note with the assistance (well... coordination)of Ed Brough the AA is now employing the Standard MOTD V4.3. We'll no longer be using a variety of temporary MOTD's but a more traditional MOTD which is fitting with the AA. The only change you guys are likely to see is the occasional rank or name change!

Other than that there's not much to say apart from let's hope it continues...

What? I forgot to say how much I love the crew? Oh... <huggles crew>

Hey... Crew Spotlight! Nearly forgot that. This month I have to spotlight Mandy Carter for her excellent service as CMO. I sense promotion is waiting in the wings for Mandy!

Comments: The sim has been going along quite smoothly. In fact, I'd say it's progressing to be one of the more evenly paced sims I've ever been able to run on the Ark Angel! The ship has entered the Grane Anomaly, and has found the Klingon ship adrift. An away team is being put together to investigate, but they are treading carefully, as there are more lifesigns on the ship than there should be, and they cannot be identified through the storm.

FComm Comments:
The AA is moving along well. They’ve had people come and go which has created the usual interim chaos that occurs with infusions of new people. These are absolutely needed, though its rather like a hot tub party. Its always a little disruption in the conversation until everyone finds their place again. Samuel has done an excellent job with recruiting, and Greg is keeping the sim on course despite the interruptions. The AA has bucked the trend and is up in its post days count from last month, a show that there is greater interest in the sim, and with the enthusiasm of new crew.
