We have recieved word that the shuttle the symphonic has failed to reach its check point. On investigating the Ogawa picked up a distress call and a warp core signature intersecting with a strange particle field before disappearing. Further scans indicated that it belonged to the Symphonic.

Getting settled into the Ogawa has proven to be challenging, but I endeavour to meet it head on and succeed. I have a fine ship and a fine crew, and I expect great things from them both.

We have been called to the Izar system. Starfleet medical asked us to provide assistance to the colonists on Izar III, who have been hit by a disease that appears to have strong effects on a person's mental health, causing extreme behavioural changes.

The Te'Paktan threat was neutralized with the help of the enigmatic Heleen. Their culture, having rejected overtures from the Federation for the past twenty years, made the decision to come to our aid after one of their operatives, stowed away aboard the Ve'Dak's crew, witnessed our actions and apparently judged the crew of the Ogawa worthy. Meanwhile the medical staff tell me that the radiological and biological weapons used by the Te'Paktan against their neighbors the Klek will be completely neutralized.
