Captain's Log: Mission Close (06070.8)
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

The Te'Paktan threat was neutralized with the help of the enigmatic Heleen. Their culture, having rejected overtures from the Federation for the past twenty years, made the decision to come to our aid after one of their operatives, stowed away aboard the Ve'Dak's crew, witnessed our actions and apparently judged the crew of the Ogawa worthy. Meanwhile the medical staff tell me that the radiological and biological weapons used by the Te'Paktan against their neighbors the Klek will be completely neutralized.

I have made the decision to proceed to the Klek homeworld, set down the Away Mission Medical Module, and use the supplemental Starbase we picked up at Starbase 243 to begin treating the Klek injured. A population of a billion will take some time, and I foresee a long Federation presence in this sector, now that the Te'Paktan's true intentions have been exposed.

In the meantime, I must now begin proceedings into the destruction of the Isis, a Liberty-Class runabout entrusted to this ship before I took command. Starfleet regulations require that I initiate court-martial proceedings, and in light of my explicit orders to get that ship to safety I am inclined to agree with general policy. Starfleet will shortly receive my findings that the pilot, having been given explicit orders to return to the Ogawa, defied those orders and used the Isis as a weapon, flying her into the Ve'Dak and causing serious damage to that vessel.

I have already decided that the additional warp-capable shuttle brought to the Ogawa by an incoming crewman will be left on Klek with the 3M to facilitate their efforts, and have petitioned Command to dispatch a new Liberty-Class runabout. The Abida should arrive within a standard week, at which time we should already be on Heel, on a diplomatic release. Ambassador Fin, if she is willing, will make a useful addition to the crew, having already been familiar with the cultural and political surroundings.

Personal Log: 06070.82306

I've. . .never made one of these before. The destruction of the Isis is more than an inconvenience. It was a direct defiance of my orders. In reviewing the logs, myself, I have clear record of Commander Wells assuring that the crew would be returned safely, and that both runabouts would be returned if they were able. I have no record that the Isis' pilot ever replied to or received my orders, but those ships were in constant communication. I can't believe that the pilot didn't know the Isis was to be preserved, and I certainly didn't give permission for someone to fly her into a ship that had a Starfleet officer and our Chief Medical Officer's brother on board.

And it has given me pause to think. Abida . . . It's a reference to the Mongolian God on earth worshipped during their ancient times, who was ruler over the souls of the dead; it was his task to decide who would enter paradise, and who has to go back to life to try again. Being so long-lived, the El-Aurian people don't have such beliefs. . . but the theme, the idea, gives me pause. . .

Captain's Log: Supplemental (06052.2)
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

This isn't a medical mission--it is turning out to be a witness to a massacre. The runabouts are en route to the Sen'Dal to render aid, according to our orders from Starfleet, orders that I find I am having more and more disquiet with, prompting me to prepare this report. Te'Paktan Captain S'Lem of the Ve'Dak has imparted to me that his fleet has surrounded the Klek homeworld, and given his previous appearances I find it remarkably unlikely that he will seek a peaceful resolution. Indeed, these people smile with a pointed grin, or to borrow the earth colloquial, 'a lean and hungry look.' USS Ogawa is prepared to enter the edge of the combat zone to provide care for six crewmembers aboard the Sen'Dal injured in an engagement with the Klek. These crewmen, S'Lem assures me, are the only casualties, and he doesn't forsee a likelihood of more casualties as we bring this to a close. Well, he doesn't forsee more Te'Paktan casualties. . . Honestly, why are we involved with these people? The diplomatic envoy, Fin, voices a need for caution. That voice alone sounds more like a red alert, right in the middle of my forehead now.

Captain's Log: Stardate 06032.0
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

The Ogawa has been ordered to travel to the Paktani System to rendevous with the Ve'Dak, a Te'Paktan battle cruiser engaged in wartime operations against an enemy called the Klek. We have been ordered to provide whatever medical aid and courtesies as we can afford; we have also been ordered to share technologies--although I have expressed sincere misgivings in the number of holes in our briefing data, the orders stand. The Admiral dispatching our orders knows more than he's saying, which makes me nervous. What do these people have that we want so badly?

Captain's Log: Stardate 06030.3
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

The Phoenix is now behind us on her way to her repair dock in Acamarian space under the watchful eye of the patrol vessel, Little Fish, the Ogawa has repaired most of her damage and returned home. Starbase 243 was the site for our awards dinner, where several of our worthy crewmembers received honors for their actions. Some others that deserve them will still receive their just rewards for their work in bringing Pakbra to justice.

The Ark Angel and a Klingon D-7 are in port at Starbase 243 along with us, and I'm curious to know why some much of the Fleet's strength has been diverted coreward. It appears from the comm chatter that the Ark Angel may be leaving soon, and with the D7, so it looks like we'll be pulling double-duty as a patrol vessel, again.

Captain's Log: Supplemental (06011.7)
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

The Phoenix crew are now in the care of the Ogawa's medical staff. After securing the vessel we discovered that others in Pakbra's crew had been subjected to the same radiation, and required treatment. Doctor Quinn assures that they can expect to fully recover. I have returned to the Ogawa while repairs to the Phoenix continue. Commander Wells' team has beamed to Professor Pakbra's research facility in hopes of apprehending him before he can do any more damage.

With our new Chief of Staff and a detachment of security officers now aboard, long range sensors already have detected an Acamarian patrol, no doubt having detected our weapons' fire when we boarded the Phoenix in search of Pakbra. If we do not have the Professor in custody by the time they arrive, we will be forced to turn him over to their custody, in which case he could most likely escape answering for his crimes.

Captain's Log: Supplemental (05111.3)
Captain AndrusTarus Commanding

The Ogawa has engaged the Phoenix. A three-pronged attack is planned. Captain AndrusTarus will board from the shuttle Perceptive with Flight Specialist Anasazi, while Commander Wells and Lt. Cmdr. Castor will each take a security detachment and beam to key locations to take control of the ship. Mission Specialist Shadowmoon is ordered to disable the Phoenix by targeting her navigational array, unless there are signs Pakbra is going to use his engine again. If that happens, Chief Science Officer M'Bok is under orders to destroy the Phoenix.

Personal Note: Commander Wells has voiced objections over my decision to be a part of the away mission to capture Pakbra. I am including this note to let the record show that she has performed her required duties under regulations.

The Ogawa's wounds have been licked, and though it has become necessary to place the Counselor on extended leave and replace every senior officer with other crewmembers, Starfleet has seen fit to extend to us the honor of pursuing Pakbra and his ship and bringing he and his crew to justice.

The USS Zahn has arrived in-sector to take charge of the Alchemist, while we make preparations for battlestations.

With my recent assignment to the Ogawa, I arrive to find the former Commanding Officer and Executive Officer dead, killed in action while attempting to render aid to a ship in distress. Star Fleet has been notified that the attackers are still on the loose. A medical frigate has no business participating further in a police action. Most of the ship's battle damage will have to wait as we continue to render aid to a ship in distress.

Captain's Log: Stardate 04060.1 Captain Jerriko recording:
We've arrived at the Opaka system, to see if we can find a solution to this virus that has run rampant through my ship. Lt M'Bok is going to be leading an away team, aboard the Isis, to search the planet below, where the Captain of the freighter Coosa believes they picked up the virus. Those infected are starting to show symptoms, regardless of the Virax. I'm most concerned about Dr Glessin, since he's part Cardassian, he's the farthest along. I hope a cure can be found soon.

Captain's log stardate 01100.1

The Utiluans are gone. Thank goodness. Whether they will ever return is unceratin, but we hope not. They are a formidable force. Perhaps our alliance with the Karn-T'ath may prevent them thinking in our direction in the future. The Karn-T'ath seem to be impenetrable by the Utiluans (or Ute's as we have come to know them).

There have been many casualties this mission. Even more if you count the emotional effect the events have had on those who survive. We have lost Commander Elask Magee. He shall never be forgotten. He served the Owie and the Federation well and I was proud to call him my friend.

We are now arriving at Earth and docking at Station McKinley. There shall be interrogtaions of all the crew concerning the recent events. Myself, CNS Elbrun and Lt. Bol, COS, have been stood down form our positions pending the investigation into the parts we played in these incidences. When and if we will be given back those positions will be known only once the investigation is complete. I feel that we are all in for a long and harrowing wait.

The ship has been in need of a good overhaul and is finally able to get it. Whatever happens, the ship shall stay here for the next two months. Repairs shall be completed, we shall take on new crew and the crew shall be allowed to rest and relax. Something all aboard are in desperate need of.

End log.

I, Captain Charlie Swann, have taken over command of the USS Ogawa in light of Captain Tuttle's disappearance. Though still unsure sure of all the particulars it seems there is little hope of the Captain returning. This is my first post as Captain and to say that things are a little strange right now is correct. Why my ship is pink is one example, however engineers are working to remedy that and the ship should be back to it's right colour soon. I have not been given mission orders yet, but I do not feel it will be long till I do, Starfleet seems anxious to put the things that have happened behind them and move on.

Captains Log Supplemental 00082.8

On returning from a meeting with Madam Guinan, Linnis and myself came across a sick boy and his parents on their way to the local hospital. We brought them to the Ogawa as it was the closest medical facility.

The diagnosis of the child was radiation poisoning, the exact type is not yet known, but will be soon.

The radiation effects seem to be coming from a meteorite that came down in the mountain. Captain Hawkins will be taking a shuttle to rescue the rest of his party before anymore harm can come to them.

One other weird thing is that time here seem to be going faster. Hawkins claims to have been here for months, yet he was snatched by 'Q' only 4 days ago. The science depart will be looking into this matter when sensors and ship functions are repaired.

Captain's Log, Stardate 00082.8

The Ogawa has been caught in a battle between the Romulans and Starfleet Intellegence. Phaser and disruptor fire made several positive hits and she became seriously damaged and on the brink of destruction when it was saved by a Q.

Not just any Q however, but one that owed a debt of gratituted to Linnis. Q transported the ship to a planet in the Beta Quadrant called Hermana Prime. It is home for an El-Aurian colony who have been settled there for just over a normal earth year.

The colony was the destination of Linnis when she resigned form Starfleet. I sense the Ogawa's presence is not just an accident.

I have a meeting shortly with Guinan. The same who kept bar on the Enterprise D. Se appears to be a guiding light in the colony. Her reputation precedes her for being very wise.

The crew has been ordered to repair the ship. It will be a slow task with many people doing work beond their regular duties. I will however allow as much R&R as possible for the crew.

Captain's Log, Stardate 00072.5

The shuttle carrying Linnis and Ensign Rageratto to their new lives and duty was destroyed by the Ogawa. After the preliminary investigation, it seems that the ships weapons systems had been sabotaged. They were placed into war-game mode but the output power was not reduced, hence a devastating force against its target. The investigation is still progressing to find the saboteur.

The Normandy had returned, but we managed to escaped from it but only to a worse fate perhaps. The mission specialist on the normandy, a man called Desmark (who has connections with Intel), wanted to take control of the Ogawa. With the ship at red alert and the weapons systems locked on to the Normandy to show a defensive posture, the weapon systems again fired themselves causing some damage to the Normandy. Our escape route was supposed to be to the nearest Starbase, but along with the weapons, it seems that the navigational systems and warp drive had also been sabotaged. We are now sat in the neutral zone, 5 weeks from federation space at full inpulse.

Anybody fancy a glass of Romulan Ale?

Captain's Log, Stardate 00060.7

The USS Normandy has arrived on our port side. The actions of both its command and the mysterious action on my ship are cause for concern. Intel is a deadly section to contend with. I have sent the Normandy off by itself to find the Ferengi whilst we carry out repairs. Should we need assistance, the USS Roddenbury is ony 24 hrs away.

Captain's Log, Stardate 00042.9

An urgent message from Guinan, urging me to give up Starfleet, has got me thinking. Maybe it's time to move on. With all the mucking about Intel is doing, the mysterious disappearance of two officers, and Q's near constant presence on my ship is enough to drive the best captain to resignation. But if it weren't for Guinan, I wouldn't be doing this.

Effective immediately, I, Captain Linnis of the USS Ogawa, do hereby resign my Starfleet commission and relinquish command of this vessel to Commander John Tuttle.

Mission Update, Stardate 00042.9

Intel is now involved, and that spells trouble for the Ogawa. The supposed Dominion virus has been traced to Starfleet Intel; two officers have come up missing; and an Intel Fleet Captain is aboard and snooping.

The game's afoot and no one is playing fair.

Captain's Log, Stardate 00041.0

Dr. Hawkeye McCullick, a leading geneticist in the UFP, has found a way to resequence the Tellarite's DNA. The patient is resting comfortably in Sickbay. We are still enroute to the Neutral Zone, on the ion trail of a Ferengi ship believed to have destroyed the freighter and stolen the virus.

End Log

Personal Log, Linnis, Stardate 00041.0

I cannot and will not let McCullick scrap his career and freedom because he saved another's life. As doctors, we are sworn to do just that. Regulations be damned. I'll find a way around it. Especially since it looks more and more like the Ogawa has stumbled into some kind of Intel plot that threatens our very lives.

If the virus is actually the creation of Starfleet, and Intel is trying to frame the Dominion for it, I can only guess that someone high up wants an excuse to get back into a war. The sudden and unexplained arrival of my sister, Tallen, a high-ranking Intel operative, tells me we're closer to the truth than we care to be. I can only hope that Tallen won't betray us for the sake of her job duties.

Captain's Log, Stardate 0022.9

An away team led my COS Nyugen has beamed aboard the freighter. The vessel shows signs of an attack, and no life signs have been detected.

We've detected an ion trail from a Ferengi vessel. It was here about six hours ago, and is now heading to the Neutral Zone.

The Tellarite's condition remains a mystery.

Supplies of duct tape are running low as Engineering continues repairs to the ship.

Captain's Log, Stardate 00020.4

Mission Summary, Stardate 00020.4

Without even a rest break, the Ogawa has been dispatched to investigate a Terralian freighter claiming to be under attack. The freighter was enroute to Starfleet Medical with an unknown, engineered virus originating within the Dominion.

The Ogawa is to try and locate the virus, and ascertain what, if any, threat it holds.
