: : : : : "Oh my, yes" James replied, turning and standing byher side to watch MacTavish scanning Koats leg and quietly explaining to him that women aren't like phasers. James brushed some errant strands of hair out of his eyes. "We're sending him up with a sample of... whatever the hell those things were for better medical analysis" He said, deciding to take him to sickbay himselfjust to be sure. And it wouldn't hurt to drop by and see Tamar, he was eager to show her what a well-adjusted and sane person he was. Most of the time. Though he couldn't shake the feeling that he was always being watched on the ship now. Probabaly just his imagination.

: : : : : "We'll leave the crates by the entrance and wait for the storm to die off, then we can see if we can get the shuttle closer, and if not we'll just carry as many as we can, load 'em and up and go. It's gonna take at least three trips with all this stuff, and then we'll have to take all the personelle back too." He said, staring at the raging sandstorm outside.

: : : : IC: "As much as I love science, I couldn't stand looking at a sandstorm this much. Fifteen minutes has never seemed so long." She spoke in exasperated tones. "Stupid question, but can't we just transport the crates to the Vicky? I don't think they will all fit in the shuttle with the scientists too."
: : : :
: : : : Kasumi had packed up at least 20 odd shaped crates, who knew how many the others had packed. It might be near on impossible to cart and fit everything into the shuttle. Not to mention they weren't really sure how long a window they had before the next storm hit.

: : : There are three light grav carts that are available to carry equipment. Everyone 'could' be crammed in in one trip if both shuttles were utilized and every available space taken up.
: : :
: : : The storm is virtually abated - and the reports show a fair window of time before the next bit of 'weather'

: :
: : "The same reason we couldn't just beam ourselves down." James said, surveying the crates. "The sandstorm creates a huge static ionization field in the atmosphere, which would reverse the polarity of the neutron flow in the transport signal, causing it to dissipate into the upper atmosphere, and I for one don't fancy getting my atoms scattered any further than they have to be."

: OOC: I think I will leave you that title!
:
: IC: Kasumi sighed. "Yes Sir, I figured that might be the problem, but I wasn't sure if it would abate enough to give us the window to transport things or not. Well, we'd better call Mr Klingon Fighter back over to help load these carts. We are going to be crammed like sardines, but I think its safe to start making trips."

Once Jaya got back up to the surface she walked over to Kasumi and asked. "Lieutenant, what do you need me to help with. Looks like we have a small break in the storm so we should get whatever we can over to the shuttles right now."
